Little Bookstores Week 2026

Little Bookstores Week returns in full force, celebrating its fifth anniversary this year from May 25 to May 30.

Over 140 bookstores across Greece and Cyprus are opening their doors, inviting the public to a grand celebration of books. With the central theme "Bookstores in Action," the event highlights the crucial social and cultural role of small neighborhood bookstores.

Beyond stories and presentations, these spaces serve as hubs for solidarity and action, strengthening local community ties. With a rich program of events for all ages, the institution reminds us of the joy of reading and the power of gathering. Saturday, May 30 at 12:00 PM Filippos Mandilaras presents his children's book My Wonderful Bathtub! at Koukida Bookstore (Corinth).
