Imagination, free thought, creativity, and joy are the therapeutic "medicines" of poetry, the antidote to the harshness of the times. As is also evident in the book, poetry gives a name to emotions. It helps the child to express their fear, joy, or wonder in a creative way. At the same time, poetry is ideal for reading aloud. The child can complete the rhyme, clap to the rhythm, or recite, which transforms reading from a passive to an active experience.
– Katerina Zamaria, DiastixoThe childhood, inspiration, simplicity, imagination, and wisdom of the lyricist (and not only) Stavroula Pagona captivated me. […] without didacticism and without affectation, the book opens a path for children to appreciate poetry and to experience, in an almost sing-song manner, the joy, the awkwardness, the imagination, and the seriousness of their childhood existence.
– Eleni Athanasopoulou, Kokkini AlepouRhymed speech, rhyme, and rhythm, together with humor, compose a whole that flows and keeps interest alive. It is a great joy to encounter today a poetry collection that addresses children and treats them with respect and seriousness, without underestimating their language or having a purely didactic purpose.
