Dewdrop

Antonis Dimitrakopoulos was born in Athens in 1972. He has been working at Ikaros Publications since 2000. His writings have been published in various literary magazines, whilst in recent years he has been focusing on children’s books. In 2012, he published the children’s story ‘Drosostalida’, which was shortlisted for the State Prize for Illustrated Children’s Books (2012).

Ersi Spathopoulou was born in Athens and studied graphic arts at the Vakalo School, specialising in graphic design and set design. She worked at the National Theatre as an assistant set designer, alongside Savvas Haratsidis on various productions. She then worked at Artoon as a background artist and stylist on the animated television series "Pandora & Plato", as well as on other productions. Since 1998, she has run the creative studio "ANIMaD illustration & animation" together with Dimitris Karatzaferis. ANIMaD’s work includes, amongst other things, animation and backgrounds for multimedia applications and television, illustration for print and advertising, as well as illustrations for children’s books.
