Teachers are creatures that inhabit schools

-
Teachers are strange creatures, with hair full of glitter, stickers and paint. They live in schools to water the plants and look after things. They never go on holiday but wait for the children to return. But what happens when a teacher runs away? A hilarious and heart-warming story about the relationships between children and teachers, with wild childish imagination and incredible illustrations.

If you are a teacher, read it, because it is a book that honors the role of the teacher in the most original way: by revealing their humanity through the veil of mystery that the children weave around them. And bring it with you to your classroom, where your own little creatures reside, there where: "Imagine how much she loves us, that she cannot be away from us... And I, too, love her!"

– Katerina Zamaria, Diastixo

A story that will make children laugh, wonder, and—perhaps—see their teachers in a completely different light.

– Stavroula Panopoulou, Debop

Undoubtedly, this is an enjoyable, child-centered story for children, teachers, and parents. However, what I place particular importance on is the respect with which the creators approach both the student and the teacher. This is not a book "about diversity" in a narrow, didactic way. Nevertheless, it incorporates it substantively, featuring students of different colors—including a Greek student—in a central and strong role. At the same time, the teachers are portrayed as steady, tender presences, as those people who "are always there for us." Even if they have a life beyond the boundaries of the school classroom, they remain close to their students, giving them—beyond knowledge—care, hugs, kisses, and smiles.

– Eleni Athanasopoulou, Kokkini Alepou
