Soloúp presents "Babel" at the Chaniartoon Festival (Chania)

On Saturday, September 26 at 19:00, as part of the international Chaniartoon festival in Chania, Soloúp will present his latest graphic novel, Babel, at the Mikis Theodorakis Theater.

Soloúp—born Antonis Nikolopoulos—explores the concepts of brotherhood, solidarity, and militancy through a multifaceted graphic novel that travels across space and time with a strong autobiographical character and genuine emotion.

The speakers presenting the comic will be:

Soloúp (illustrator, political cartoonist, PhD from the University of the Aegean – Department of Cultural Technology and Communication)

Yiannis Koukoulas (Assistant Professor, Department of Preschool Education and Educational Design, University of the Aegean)

Marianna Misiou (Associate Professor, Department of Preschool Education and Educational Design, University of the Aegean, specializing in "Pictorial Narratives and their Pedagogical Utilization in Teaching Practice," and since 2024, Director of the Postgraduate Program "Children's Book and Pedagogical Material")
