Places of Writing

-
I woke up and I was in the dream. The places seemed familiar even though I didn’t recognise them. I’ve seen them somewhere before, I thought. I walked along those streets. I remember that bend, the trees, the river. The bridge where I stood so you could take my photo. How is it that I can see now and yet not see? Or perhaps I hadn’t really seen them. Perhaps I dreamt them. And now these gates seem to be a passageway. To what I thought I saw.
