"...The images are so vivid that you feel as though you are there too, building sandcastles. With detail that is carefully considered, just enough to attract the young child, spark their curiosity and encourage dialogue, rather than discouraging or confusing them..."

– Katerina Andrikopoulou, Elniplex.com

"...A story about friendship and the value of sharing. In simple and unpretentious language, this book speaks to us about one of the most important values in life: that of friendship..."

– Angeliki Boziki, EimaiMama.gr

"...This book, a prime example of practical aesthetics, has a texture that creates a special bond with little hands. Its soft, cushion-like cover makes it impossible to resist picking up. And the book fits into their hands effortlessly. Is it likely that a child who has grown to love books like this would later seek out something aesthetically inferior? What do you think?"

– Yannis Metaxas, To Vima

"The story in this book is so tender, human and true! Children identify with and understand what they read, because they have certainly felt similar emotions. The story of Tick and Tella helps them understand and discuss the value of friendship, the power behind some of our actions, and how important it is to share."

– Magda Zindrou, Every Day Parents

"...The rich and vivid illustrations complement the text very successfully. Furthermore, the illustrations give children who have not yet mastered the mechanics of reading the opportunity to engage with the book by looking at the pictures, which tell the story all by themselves."

– Yannis Diakomanolis, The Magical World of Children’s Books

...When Tela wakes up, she finds herself in a new situation and feels uncomfortable because she feels neglected. But everything can change, and it happens in such a simple way when children learn to give and share. After all, this is one of the values of friendship. Sharing to multiply the smiles and the joy you feel...

– Mama Mamadopoulou, KidsCloud.gr

"...These little stories help us realise that it’s much more fun to make someone happy! That it’s wonderful to share even your last coin, because through your kind gesture you’ve managed to win a friend..."

– Mama's 'n' Papa's Blog
