Nafplio. Christmas Eve. Following the murder of a lawyer, Haris Kokkinos finds himself facing a case unlike any he has handled before. The answers he seeks are not hidden in any single piece of evidence, but in people’s silences, in their fraying relationships and in their extreme choices. And while the case leads him to the scene of the crime, this time the truth pushes him somewhere darker: inside himself.
A contemporary social portrait of the unseen and the absurd in this corner of the Mediterranean, of lives shaped in silence and of the bonds that test us, proving that the most dangerous place is where we love.

Once again, Eftychia Giannaki performs her noir miracle, proving that crime fiction can be high literature.
– Eleni Gika, FractalWith a sharp gaze, the author illuminates the unseen face of provincial life and how human lives are shaped in the shadow of secrecy. With prose full of intensity, "Sea, Save Me" unfolds as a gripping study of the bonds that define us and which we can never truly bypass.
– Spyros Smyrnis, In2lifeWonderful! With excellent writing, Giannaki unfolds a very solid plot, and through a murder, she gives us a trigger to reflect on the filth hidden behind foolish power and reckless wealth. I read it in less than 24 hours.
– Tasos Gerontas, ExostisWith sharp prose and intense emotional depth, the author explores the boundaries of love, guilt, and human endurance, reminding us that the most dangerous place is never the crime itself, but what we hide within ourselves.
– Giouli Tsakalou, Eleftheros TyposAnother rich, atmospheric noir with emotional intelligence from the beloved author.
– Fotini Simou, ELLE
Eftychia Giannaki now belongs to the most important voices of contemporary Greek crime fiction, [...] undertaking a deep dive into the abyss of human relationships and, specifically, into the points of no return.
– Eirini Giannaki, LIFOThere is nothing quite like the page-turner books by Eftychia Giannaki—one of our country's most important crime fiction writers.
– Theodosis Michos, OneManGiannaki's novel is a crime novel. Yes. It is a social novel. Yes. It is existential. Yes. It is a psychological portrait of characters and human relationships. Yes. It is a part of us. Yes. Enough with the findings, the affirmations, the confirmations. All of the above are contained within the author's steady, warm, objective, narrative voice.
– Alexandros Stergiopoulos, GazzettaThe book is written in a truly poetic language, without using "ornamental elements"—it has no need for them. Complex and dense writing, excellent descriptions of nature and the psychological state of the protagonists. And towards the end, a completely unpredictable plot twist. Or, in other words, "Sea, save us!", since it is the womb of our life and our existence.
– Hilda Papadimitriou, Book PressAs always, the author has woven a captivating web that grips the reader and does not let go, even after reaching the final page. "Sea, Save Me" is a harrowing story that has continued to linger in my mind as a reader for days after finishing the book.
