Fall – Crisis – Hell

-
The foetus ‘knows’ nothing of the nature of existence after birth — of life after death. No foetus has ever ‘returned’ to become a foetus again after its birth; it has never returned as an infant to the foetuses to ‘inform’ them of what their reality will be after their birth! Man comes into life in complete ignorance and utter solitude, just as he departs from this world in complete ignorance of the reality that awaits him after his death. A reality, perhaps, analogous to the difference between the foetus and the rational subject.
