Having discovered his true nature, Edward grows up enjoying his parents’ love, both in the Bats’ Nest and in Mouse Village. At the Silver Grasshopper Festival, however, a terrible earthquake traps the bats inside the Great Cave. Time is not on their side. Supplies and drinking water are running out. Edward decides to organise a rescue mission with some volunteer mice, but is surprised to encounter fear and a refusal to help from some of them… A novel about acceptance, friendship and self-sacrifice.

Triantafyllia Vassou
Triantafyllia Vassou is an artist in the making. She was born in Thessaloniki and grew up in her father’s painting studio. He was, after all, her first teacher. She adores tradition, in all its forms, and creates using classic painting media such as brushes, ink, watercolours and any kind of paper she happens to come across. She never stops dreaming of new, fantastical worlds, to which she travels through her illustrations.
