Yasmeen Ismail

Born in Ireland, Yasmeen Ismail is an award-winning author, illustrator and motivational speaker. She studied at the Dublin School of Art, graduating in 2002. She then moved to London and devoted her creativity to many different fields, from advertising to children’s books.

She is very fond of watercolours and inks; she enjoys experimenting and expanding all areas of her work, and constantly strives to improve her writing and drawings in new ways.

She enjoys her new home in Bristol with her husband, their two children and their cat, Betty.

Tracy Darnton

Tracy Darnton is an award-winning author of books for children and young adults. She studied
law at the University of Cambridge and worked as a lawyer and lecturer. She has taught ‘Writing for Young People’ on the Master’s programme at Bath Spa University. She enjoys working closely with young people, introducing them to the art of writing. She has won significant awards and accolades for her work, including The Bookseller’s YA Book Prize. Tracy lives near Bath, in south-west England, with her family.
