Maylis de Kerangal
Maylis de Kerangal was born in Toulon in 1967 and grew up in Le Havre. She has written eight novels, including Naissance d’un pont (Prix Franz Hessel 2010, Prix Médicis 2010), Réparer les vivants (Grand Prix RTL-Lire, France Culture and Télérama Student Choice Novel of the Year), and Un chemin de tables, the English edition of which (The Cook) was a New York Times Editors' Choice. She lives in Paris.
