Frances Tosdevin
Frances Tosdevin studied Archaeology, Anthropology and Classics at Cambridge. She has such a great love for things of the past that when she was little she longed to have a real dinosaur. She has been a finalist in several literary competitions and in 2022 was awarded the Crystal Kite Prize for her first illustrated book. Frances lives in Bedfordshire and enjoys nature, the theatre and gardening, as well as spending time with her grandchildren.
Ali Pye
Ali Pye wanted to be an illustrator from a young age and used to draw stories and stick the pages together to make little books. However, it took her a few years, and a stint as a copy editor, before she began illustrating professionally. She graduated from Kingston MA in 2010 and now works as a full-time illustrator.
