Born in Hong Kong, she grew up in Philadelphia and studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York. After working as a graphic designer and art director at Nickelodeon, Scholastic, and Time for Kids magazine, she decided to pursue a career in illustration.
Today, she specialises in children’s illustration, and her work can be seen in children’s books and magazines, toys, merchandise, and digital media.
She lives with her husband and daughter in Boston.
