Fabrice Caro

Fabrice Caro was born in Montpellier, France, in 1973. He is known in France as a cartoonist under the name Fabcaro. He has written and illustrated around thirty comic books, including the famous Zaï zaï zaï zaï (6 Pieds Sous Terre, 2015).

The Toast (Ikaros, 2023) was published by Gallimard in 2018, delighting readers and critics alike and achieving great commercial success. In 2020, it was adapted for the cinema, directed by Laurent Tirard, under the same title.
Gallimard has also published his novels: Figurec (2006), Broadway (2020) and Samouraï (2022). Fabrice Caro is also a songwriter and musician.
