Stéphane Carlier

Stéphane Carlier was born in 1971 in Argenteuil, Île-de-France, and holds a degree in History from the University of Paris IV. At the start of his career, he worked as a freelance journalist for various French magazines. In 1996, he was recruited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was initially posted to the USA, where he lived for ten years (New York, Los Angeles, Palm Springs),
and then to India, in New Delhi. Returning to Europe, he spent two and a half years in Lisbon and then settled in Burgundy, where he lives to this day. Ikaros Publications has also released his novel Clara Reads Proust.
