Olga Ravn

Olga Ravn was born in Denmark in 1986. She is a writer, poet and literary critic. Her novel *De ansatte* (*The Employees*) was shortlisted for the 2021 International Booker Prize and the Ursula K. Le Guin Award, and longlisted for the National Book Award and the Dublin Literary Award, whilst being translated into 25 languages. Her novel *Mit Arbejde* (My Work) was awarded the Politikens Literature Prize in 2021 and led to changes in Denmark’s maternity laws. Her new novel, Voksbarnet (The Wax Child), based on a series of real 17th-century witch trials, was published in Denmark in September 2023. Her works will be published by Ikaros.
