Andreas Nikolakopoulos

Andreas Nikolakopoulos was born in Athens in 1983. He works as a chef in restaurants in Greece and abroad. He divides his time between Athens and London.

His first collection of short stories, Makina (Idifono Publications), was published in 2019. His second collection of short stories, Acceptance of Inheritance, was published in 2020 (Ikaros Publications) and was shortlisted for the State Prize for Literature / Short Story
– Novella, as well as for the Short Story – Novella Prize of the literary magazine O Anagnostis, and was longlisted for the 2021 Prose Prize of the magazine Klepsydra.
His third collection of short stories, Saltos, was published in 2022 (Ikaros Publications) and was shortlisted for the 2022 Prose Award of the Thessaloniki Writers’ Society, as well as longlisted for the 2022 Chartis Magazine Awards.

Whenever he can, he returns to the mountains.
