Wendy Meddour

Dr Wendy Meddour grew up in the small coastal town of Aberystwyth in Wales. She is Director of Creative Writing at the University of Exeter in the UK. After obtaining her PhD, she spent eight years teaching English Literature at the University of Oxford. Her first children’s book was shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award. She has published more than fifteen illustrated books, which have been translated into more than eight languages.
