Hercules Liokis

Hercules Liokis, son of the chemist Demosthenes Liokis and Maria Papageorgiou, was born in Athens in June 1944. He studied Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and undertook postgraduate studies in Economics at the College of Europe in Belgium and in Athens. He reads and travels. He has been working in Athens since 1970. He published the poetry collection ‘Intermission’ in 1973. He married Katerina Zerva and they have a son, Demosthenes.
