Laurent Cardon

Laurent Cardon was born in France and has lived in São Paulo, Brazil, since 1995. After graduating from the ‘Les Gobelins’ animation school in Paris, he worked as a cartoonist, screenwriter and illustrator. He has also worked on television series in France, China, Korea and Spain. He began illustrating children’s books in Brazil and has since illustrated a large number of books. The diversity of his experience shows that he has a constant interest in new genres and techniques, ranging from realism to humour, street sketches and printmaking, watercolour and digital illustration.
