Corrinne Averiss

Corrinne Averiss is the author of tender and humorous stories for children. She grew up in Worcestershire and, at just seven years old, wrote her first fairy tale featuring a little hamster who runs away from his nest to find some company. Corrinne studied English Literature at the University of St Andrews and, before working in children’s television as a producer and director, created the short film “Share a story”, which won three BAFTA Children’s Awards in 2016. She lives in Manchester with her husband, their daughter and a cat.
